National Anthem Tryout Date Announced for Clark County Fair
“Ohhhh say does that Star-Spangled banner yet wave?” Yes, at the Clark County Fair’s (Washington) annual National Anthem Auditions happening Wednesday, June 24, 2026. Sign ups begin at 5:30 p.m. and the onstage A cappella singing starts at 6 p.m. The auditions are free and all are welcome to audition and/or to cheer, whether solo, duos, or in groups up to four singers.
Successful crooners will sing, filling 19 spots, as they help to open all events happening in the Toyota Grandstand, as well as various special gatherings during Fair. The audition session will be held in Exhibit Hall B at the Clark County Event Center, 17402 N.E. Delfel Road, in Ridgefield. Singers who are selected will be notified the week of July 6.
And more music for everyone to enjoy will take place at the Fair’s three headliner concerts happening live August 7, 8 and 9, at the Clark County Fairground’s Toyota Grandstand during the Fair’s full run August 7-16. Concert headliners include Americana country band Midland, the nostalgic I Love The ‘90s Tour and the grit rock of Collective Soul. The concert series is sponsored by Your Party Center.
