The Clark County Fair Equestrian Court represents a proud tradition of leadership, community service, and horsemanship. Each year, outstanding young women serve as ambassadors for the Fair, sharing their passion for agriculture, education, and community involvement across Clark County.

Meet the 2026 Court

Queen Heidi

Heidi Williamson, 18, was born and raised in Vancouver and is the daughter of Starry Williams and Austin Williamson. A graduate of Skyview High School, Heidi has been active in 4-H for the past nine years as a member of the Royal Riders 4-H Club. Her equestrian partner, Howie, is a 20-year-old paint gelding.

Beyond the arena, Heidi works as a server at a local Mexican restaurant, enjoys motocross, and participates in DECA. She currently attends Lower Columbia College and is pursuing a degree in nursing with the goal of becoming a midwife.

“This year, I’m committed to giving back through community events and being a role model for the younger generation and inspiring them to dream big and stay involved.”

Princess River

River Williamson, 21, also grew up in Vancouver and is the daughter of Starry Williams and Austin Williamson. A graduate of Skyview High School, she earned her associate degree through the Running Start program at Clark College in 2022. River’s equestrian companion, Blake, is a 10-year-old Quarter Horse gelding she has been riding for the past six years.

River works as a Certified Nursing Assistant and surgical specialist at Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center. In her free time, she enjoys reading and discovering new restaurants. River plans to begin nursing school at Lower Columbia College this winter with the goal of becoming a surgical nurse.

“I’m super excited to serve as an ambassador for the Fair! I’m ready to give back to our community through hard work and events while honoring the traditions that bring us together.”

2025

  • Hannah Grant of Vancouver, daughter of Sarah and Michael Grant, graduated from Prairie High School and works as a pipefitter with Local Union 290. She rides her quarter horses Tracker and Rev.

  • Alyson McDowell of Ridgefield, daughter of Katie and Rod McDowell, attended Skyview High School and Clark College’s Running Start Program. She rides her Friesian sport horse mare Zena.

  • Sarah Payne of Hazel Dell, daughter of Melanie and Galen Payne, graduated from Vancouver School of Arts and Academics and is studying at Clark College to become a large animal veterinarian. She rides her mustang Diamond.

2024

  • Hope is the daughter of Jill and Brandon Roberts and graduated from Battle Ground High School, Hope rides her 20-year-old Appaloosa mare, Libby.

  • Sarah Payne of Hazel Dell, daughter of Melanie and Galen Payne, graduated from Vancouver School of Arts and Academics and is studying at Clark College to become a large animal veterinarian. She rides her mustang Diamond.

  • Lydia is a 2021 graduate from Ridgefield High School and is the daughter of Jay and Jodie Wainwright. Lydia’s riding parter is Ultra Elite, “UE”, a 15-year-old Canadian gelding.

  • Gracie is the daughter of Dejah and Clarence Kemp and graduated from Battle Ground High School. Gracie’s horse, DeeDee, is an 18-year-old Quarter Horse/Paint mare, that took her through her years as a Battle Ground Washington High School Equestrian Team member.
