Who Can Exhibit?

Anyone may enter exhibits at the Clark County Fair, as long as they are the owner of the exhibit and the individual who grew, raised, created, or built the item being entered. Adults and youth who are not enrolled in 4-H, FFA, or Grange may enter through Open Class.

Registering for the Fair

All exhibits must be entered by the department deadline. Entry requirements vary by department and exhibitor area. Registering your exhibit online is the fastest and most efficient way to submit entries and is recommended for all exhibitors.

Printable entry forms are available on each exhibitor area and department page. Paper forms must be completed fully and submitted by the posted deadline.

While entry forms are accepted, online entry is preferred whenever possible.

Entry Fees & Deadlines

  • Most Open Class still exhibit (non-livestock) departments have no entry fee

  • Some livestock departments do require entry fees

  • Entry deadlines vary by department:

    • Still exhibits are typically due two to three days before the Fair opens

    • Livestock deadlines occur throughout the summer

Refer to individual department listings for exact dates, fees, and requirements.

Judging & Awards

Exhibits are judged by qualified judges using one of two systems, depending on the department:

  • American System – Exhibits are judged against each other, with one first place, one second place, one third place, and so on

  • Danish System – Exhibits are judged on their own merit, and multiple exhibits may receive the same placing

Awards vary by department and may include ribbons, cash premiums, trophies, or special awards.
