Step into a unique blend of local and national history at the History Wall, an evolving exhibit that changes each year to highlight Clark County’s past. This year’s display reflects on America’s 250th celebration while taking a closer look back at 1976—a landmark year marked by the nation’s Bicentennial and major milestones in space exploration.

As the country celebrated 200 years of independence, the Viking missions made history by landing on Mars. That same spirit is reflected in this year’s Fair theme, Blast Off to Fun, and connects directly to the featured attraction, Mars Encounters.

Why You’ll Love It:

  • Explore a new historical theme each year

  • Discover connections between past and present

  • Learn about 1976, the Bicentennial, and Mars exploration
