Trey Foote Foundation
The principal purpose of the foundation is to support the advancement of research and education related to the effects of childhood cancer. Some of the activities may include funding and giving scholarships to individuals or other organizations engaged in research or education related to childhood cancer; to provide assistance and support to students in the preparation of senior projects on the subject of childhood cancer. Other activities include promoting programs and activities designed to advance the education and awareness of childhood cancer; to support to the Make-A-Wish charitable organization and to fund living memorials. There are several reasons why their involvement in the Clark County Fair is important. First and most important is it provides a forum to talk and educate the community of the effects of childhood cancers. It will be an opportunity to reach thousands of visitors in the community. It will also bring awareness to the research the foundation in sponsoring, which has a direct tie to Clark County and its residents. It also provides an opportunity to raise funds to support the scholarship and foundation research.
"While Trey was sick, the community gave so much to him, showed their overwhelming love and support for him while he courageously battled cancer. The Trey Foote Foundation was formed as a living memory to celebrate the life of Trey Foote and to give back to the community through our cancer research projects and annual college scholarship. While his life on this earth was short… his impact was great and his memory will live on forever." ~ Jim Foote - President Trey Foote Foundation

Furry Friends
Furry Friends is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization founded in 1999. We are a NO KILL organization. We also do not send our animals out to shelters that euthanize for population control. Our mission is to help homeless, abandoned, and abused pets by providing: education in the community, spaying and neutering, foster shelter, and medical care until the pets are rehomed. We have been able to accomplish many of our goals due to the support and generosity of our members, volunteers, and the general public. The work of Furry Friends can ensure that animals who come into our care will never again be alone, hungry, sick, afraid, or in pain. With your support, we can continue our projects, share our passion with seniors, and educate children. Please consider us as we continue to make a statement about the world we live in and for the animals we call our Furry Friends.

Second Chance Companions
Founded in 1993, Second Chance Companions is a 501(c) 3 non-profit pet organization dedicated to helping animals in SW Washington and the Portland Metro area. They are a humane, no-kill organization staffed entirely by dedicated volunteers. Although they do not run an independent shelter, they feed, care for, adopt out, and spay & neuter as many animals as possible. In addition, they educate the community and are always seeking volunteers and resources that help us to accomplish their mission. Second Chance Companions emphasizes helping the animals in our community through their Spay/Neuter Program, Adoption Program and AniMeals Program. As part of their Spay/Neuter program, Second Chance Companions has helped reduced the high rate of unwanted animals born every year by offering residents of Clark County low cost options of getting their animals fixed. In 2010, Second Chance Companions was able to spay and neuter 700 animals. With Second Chance Companion's Adoption Program, we find loving homes for hundreds of animals each year. With this program, many owners are offered more options of finding new homes for their animals. Their AniMeals program donates 2 1/2 tons of cat and dog food every month. Currently they are unable to meet the cat food needs, so any donations of extra cat food is always appreciated. Wish you could save them all? Help us save them one by one.
