Clark County Fair Summer Employment Resources

Each summer the Clark County Fair employs over 200 individuals (age 14 & up) to help produce this family-favorite event.

Application Sessions - Required Reading
PARENTS of Minor Applicants: when accompany any person ages 14-17 for an application session, no other siblings, friends, relatives may be present. The sessions are very well attended and we cannot allow anyone except for a parent(s) and applicant.
Adult Applicants (18+): Only those who are applying for work at the Clark County Fair will be allowed in these application sessions. If you are not applying for a job, you will not be admitted.
Returning Employees: NEW - If you were employed by the Clark County Fair in 2009, you may fill out your application online, email it, mail it or hand carry it in to me.
- It will not be necessary for you to attend an application session, you will be welcome to attend if desired.
- For Returning employees to be considered for the 2010 Fair, your application must be returned to me no later than June 7th, 2010.
- You will be required to attend the orientation session and if under 18 years of age, be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

SAMPLE APPLICATIONS: These are samples to help you prepare for your Application Session. They will not be accepted as final documentation.

Notification of employment: Clark County Fair will notify applicants during the week of July 12th if they are hired.
Orientation: will be held at the Fairgrounds July 22, at 7PM for those applicants hired.
Start Working: Some crew members may start as early as late July, some on August 5th for barn set up and all the rest will start on August 6th.
